Morocco shares lower at close of trade; Moroccan All Shares down 0.55%
Credit: © Reuters. – Morocco equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Beverage , Chemicals and Banking sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares fell 0.55% to hit a new 1-month low.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Lydec (CS: LYD ), which rose 9.52% or 50.00 points to trade at 575.00 at the close. IB Maroc Com SA (CS: IBC ) added 7.38% or 4.80 points to end at 69.80 and Zellidja S.A (CS: ZELI ) was up 5.90% or 6.20 points to 111.20 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Delattre Levivier Maroc (CS: DLM ), which lost 5.97% or 8.65 points to trade at 136.35 in late trade. Brasseries Du Maroc (CS: SBM ) declined 5.67% or 170 points to end at 2830 and Maghrebail (CS: MAB ) shed 4.63% or 44 points to 906.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 23 to 23 and 6 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.40% or 0.28 to $69.97 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.29% or 0.23 to hit $77.79 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.03% or 0.40 to trade at $1205.40 a troy ounce.

EUR/MAD was down 0.35% to 10.9410, while USD/MAD rose 0.31% to 9.4395.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.50% at 95.11.
