Morocco shares lower at close of trade; Moroccan All Shares down 0.46%

Investing.com – Morocco equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Insurance , Software & Computer Services and Beverage sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares lost 0.46%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Fenie Brossette (CS: FBR ), which rose 6.58% or 10.00 points to trade at 162.00 at the close. Lesieur Cristal (CS: LESU ) added 2.79% or 4.70 points to end at 172.90 and LafargeHolcim Maroc (CS: LHM ) was up 2.10% or 39 points to 1899 in late trade.

Biggest losers included S2M (CS: S2M ), which lost 9.65% or 25.95 points to trade at 243.05 in late trade. Auto Hall (CS: AUTO ) declined 6.05% or 5.80 points to end at 90.10 and Agma Lahlou-Tazi (CS: AGMA ) shed 5.97% or 187 points to 2943.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 29 to 16 and 8 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.32% or 0.18 to $57.22 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.24% or 0.15 to hit $63.16 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.07% or 0.90 to trade at $1258.00 a troy ounce.

EUR/MAD was up 0.04% to 11.1470, while USD/MAD rose 0.01% to 9.4635.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 93.81.
