Morocco shares lower at close of trade; Moroccan All Shares down 0.43%

Investing.com – Morocco equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Forestry & Paper , Distributors and Utilities sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares declined 0.43%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Snep (CS: SNP ), which rose 7.30% or 36.00 points to trade at 529.00 at the close. SMI (CS: SMI ) added 5.97% or 100 points to end at 1776 and Total Maroc SA (CS: TMA ) was up 5.17% or 59.0 points to 1200.0 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Atlanta (CS: ATL ), which lost 5.97% or 4.00 points to trade at 63.00 in late trade. Med Paper (CS: PAP ) declined 5.84% or 1.25 points to end at 20.15 and Label Vie (CS: LBV ) shed 5.41% or 110 points to 1925.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 22 to 14 and 6 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.51% or 0.35 to $68.94 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.01% or 0.01 to hit $78.17 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.65% or 7.80 to trade at $1200.40 a troy ounce.

EUR/MAD was down 0.14% to 10.9510, while USD/MAD rose 0.35% to 9.4150.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.40% at 94.91.
