Morocco shares lower at close of trade; Moroccan All Shares down 0.25%

Investing.com – Morocco equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Chemicals , Real Estate and Food Producers & Processors sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares lost 0.25%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Delattre Levivier Maroc (CS: DLM ), which rose 5.42% or 7.45 points to trade at 145.00 at the close. Fenie Brossette (CS: FBR ) added 4.84% or 4.39 points to end at 95.00 and Hps (CS: HPS ) was up 4.45% or 85.00 points to 1995.00 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Snep (CS: SNP ), which lost 10.00% or 54.00 points to trade at 486.10 in late trade. Alliances (CS: ADI ) declined 6.03% or 6 points to end at 94 and Sonasid (CS: SOND ) shed 5.12% or 27 points to 508.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 19 to 15 and 14 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.66% or 0.46 to $69.97 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.54% or 0.42 to hit $77.88 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.50% or 6.00 to trade at $1205.50 a troy ounce.

EUR/MAD was down 0.12% to 10.9720, while USD/MAD rose 0.28% to 9.4090.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.30% at 94.74.
