Morocco shares lower at close of trade; Moroccan All Shares down 0.18%

Investing.com – Morocco equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Chemicals , Insurance and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares lost 0.18%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were CDM (CS: CDM ), which rose 3.40% or 18 points to trade at 548 at the close. Fenie Brossette (CS: FBR ) added 2.61% or 4.00 points to end at 157.00 and Miniere Touissit (CS: CMT ) was up 2.22% or 33 points to 1520 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Saham Assurance (CS: SAH ), which lost 6.13% or 98 points to trade at 1500 in late trade. Rebab Company (CS: REBA ) declined 5.92% or 9.00 points to end at 143.00 and M2M Group (CS: M2M ) shed 5.08% or 18.80 points to 351.20.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 23 to 15 and 6 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.86% or 0.45 to $52.02 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.36% or 0.21 to hit $58.12 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.11% or 1.35 to trade at $1279.65 a troy ounce.

EUR/MAD was up 0.14% to 11.1190, while USD/MAD fell 0.25% to 9.4170.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.33% at 93.52.
