Morocco shares higher at close of trade; Moroccan All Shares up 0.08%

Investing.com – Morocco equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Holding Companies , Insurance and Real Estate sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares gained 0.08%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Delattre Levivier Maroc (CS: DLM ), which rose 4.72% or 8.50 points to trade at 188.50 at the close. Saham Assurance (CS: SAH ) added 3.75% or 45 points to end at 1245 and Delta Holding S.A (CS: DHO ) was up 3.54% or 0.98 points to 28.70 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Sothema (CS: SOT ), which lost 3.85% or 50 points to trade at 1250 in late trade. Snep (CS: SNP ) declined 3.27% or 11.50 points to end at 340.00 and Realis. Mecaniques (CS: SRM ) shed 2.65% or 7.00 points to 257.50.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 21 to 12 and 8 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 2.74% or 1.39 to $49.32 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 2.42% or 1.28 to hit $51.71 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.37% or 4.70 to trade at $1288.50 a troy ounce.

EUR/MAD was down 0.09% to 10.7350, while USD/MAD rose 0.13% to 10.0382.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 99.86.
