Morocco shares higher at close of trade; Moroccan All Shares up 0.43%

Investing.com – Morocco equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Forestry & Paper , Oil & Gas and Construction & Building Materials sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares gained 0.43%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Taslif (CS: TSF1 ), which rose 5.98% or 1.39 points to trade at 24.64 at the close. Agma Lahlou-Tazi (CS: AGMA ) added 5.96% or 167 points to end at 2967 and Cartier Saada (CS: CRS ) was up 5.20% or 1.30 points to 26.31 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Atlanta (CS: ATL ), which lost 1.70% or 1.10 points to trade at 63.60 in late trade. Stokvis Nord Afrique (CS: SNA ) declined 1.41% or 0.30 points to end at 21.00 and Auto Hall (CS: AUTO ) shed 1.01% or 0.99 points to 97.00.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 22 to 11 and 9 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was down 1.17% or 0.68 to $57.31 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 1.15% or 0.73 to hit $62.51 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.82% or 10.58 to trade at $1284.32 a troy ounce.

EUR/MAD was up 0.11% to 11.1770, while USD/MAD fell 0.14% to 9.4168.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.09% at 93.12.
