Morocco shares higher at close of trade; Moroccan All Shares up 0.42%

Investing.com – Morocco equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Holding Companies , Insurance and Construction & Building Materials sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares added 0.42%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Delta Holding S.A (CS: DHO ), which rose 7.76% or 2.47 points to trade at 34.32 at the close. Fenie Brossette (CS: FBR ) added 5.05% or 4.95 points to end at 102.95 and Ciments Du Maroc (CS: SCM ) was up 4.66% or 69 points to 1549 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Total Maroc SA (CS: TMA ), which lost 3.25% or 39.0 points to trade at 1161.0 in late trade. Salafin (CS: SLF ) declined 2.54% or 26 points to end at 999 and Managem (CS: MNG ) shed 2.52% or 31 points to 1199.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 17 to 13 and 8 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.53% or 0.38 to $71.95 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.41% or 0.33 to hit $81.12 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.97% or 11.60 to trade at $1187.50 a troy ounce.

EUR/MAD was down 0.25% to 10.9620, while USD/MAD rose 0.36% to 9.3920.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.60% at 94.44.
