Morocco shares higher at close of trade; Moroccan All Shares up 0.31%

Investing.com – Morocco equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Construction & Building Materials , Holding Companies and Transport sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares gained 0.31%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Ciments Du Maroc (CS: SCM ), which rose 4.31% or 69 points to trade at 1669 at the close. Miniere Touissit (CS: CMT ) added 2.26% or 34 points to end at 1537 and S2M (CS: S2M ) was up 1.88% or 4.90 points to 265.00 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Micro Data SA (CS: MIC ), which lost 5.06% or 12.80 points to trade at 240.10 in late trade. Fenie Brossette (CS: FBR ) declined 4.61% or 7.45 points to end at 154.10 and Salafin (CS: SLF ) shed 3.08% or 28 points to 882.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 17 to 17 and 7 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.09% or 0.05 to $54.20 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.28% or 0.17 to hit $60.76 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.59% or 7.49 to trade at $1270.21 a troy ounce.

EUR/MAD was up 0.02% to 11.0670, while USD/MAD fell 0.07% to 9.4975.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 94.43.
