Stock jumps 5% after signing agreement with Marriott to open 7 new luxury hotels in India & Sri Lanka
Investing.com – Italy equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the FTSE Italia Technology, FTSE Italia All Share Industrials and FTSE Italia Telecommunications sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Milan, the Investing.com Italy 40 lost 0.59%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Investing.com Italy 40 were Eni SpA (BIT:ENI), which rose 1.52% or 0.21 points to trade at 13.86 at the close. Saipem SpA (BIT:SPMI) added 1.18% or 0.03 points to end at 2.40 and Hera (BIT:HRA) was up 1.07% or 0.05 points to 4.34 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Brunello Cucinelli (BIT:BCU), which fell 2.96% or 3.05 points to trade at 100.10 in late trade. Stellantis NV (BIT:STLAM) declined 2.74% or 0.25 points to end at 8.78 and Ferrari NV (BIT:RACE) down 2.73% or 11.60 points to 413.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones by 378 to 155 and 51 ended unchanged on the Milan Stock Exchange.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.03% or 0.02 to $68.17 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.27% or 0.19 to hit $69.58 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.91% or 64.02 to trade at $3,407.72 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.74% to 1.16, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.48% to 0.85.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.65% at 97.96.
