Investing.com – Italy equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the FTSE Italia All Share Financials, FTSE Italia All Share Health Care and FTSE Italia Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Milan, the Investing.com Italy 40 added 1.23%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Investing.com Italy 40 were Recordati (BIT:RECI), which rose 4.75% or 2.35 points to trade at 51.85 at the close. Saipem SpA (BIT:SPMI) added 4.29% or 0.08 points to end at 2.04 and Bper Banca SpA (BIT:EMII) was up 4.28% or 0.21 points to 5.12 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Prysmian SpA (BIT:PRY), which fell 0.89% or 0.58 points to trade at 64.40 in late trade. Enel (BIT:ENEI) declined 0.42% or 0.03 points to end at 6.95 and Amplifon (BIT:AMPF) down 0.39% or 0.10 points to 25.73.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones by 332 to 154 and 40 ended unchanged on the Milan Stock Exchange.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.63% or 1.20 to $74.91 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.42% or 1.10 to hit $78.72 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.24% or 6.50 to trade at $2,672.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.65% to 1.10, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.52% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.60% at 102.36.
