Investing.com – Italy equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the FTSE Italia All Share Chemicals, FTSE Italia Technology and FTSE Italia All Share Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Milan, the Investing.com Italy 40 added 0.60%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Investing.com Italy 40 were Stellantis NV (BIT:STLAM), which rose 1.94% or 0.23 points to trade at 12.22 at the close. STMicroelectronics (BIT:STMMI) added 1.68% or 0.43 points to end at 25.75 and Pirelli & C SPA (BIT:PIRC) was up 1.67% or 0.09 points to 5.37 in late trade.
Biggest losers included DiaSorin SpA (BIT:DIAS), which fell 1.15% or 1.20 points to trade at 103.05 in late trade. Amplifon (BIT:AMPF) declined 1.13% or 0.31 points to end at 27.06 and Poste Italiane SpA (BIT:PST) down 0.43% or 0.06 points to 12.66.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones by 315 to 186 and 51 ended unchanged on the Milan Stock Exchange.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.22% or 0.16 to $73.41 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.48% or 0.37 to hit $76.81 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.06% or 1.55 to trade at $2,633.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.31% to 1.09, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.10% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.29% at 102.60.
