Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the TA Global BlueTech, TA Oil & Gas and TA-Communication & InformationTechnology Index sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 2.27%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were NICE Ltd (TASE:NICE), which rose 1.60% or 970.00 points to trade at 61,450.00 at the close. Enlight Ene (TASE:ENLT) added 1.33% or 76.00 points to end at 5,809.00 and Energix (TASE:ENRG) was up 1.18% or 14.00 points to 1,205.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT), which fell 11.47% or 4,080.00 points to trade at 31,500.00 in late trade. Nova (TASE:NVMI) declined 10.40% or 9,300.00 points to end at 80,100.00 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) down 9.95% or 1,930.00 points to 17,470.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones by 399 to 59 and 79 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.59% or 1.19 to $73.47 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 1.42% or 1.10 to hit $76.45 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 1.19% or 33.31 to trade at $2,773.29 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.88% to 3.60, while EUR/ILS rose 0.94% to 3.78.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.11% at 107.13.
