Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the TA Global BlueTech, TA-Communication & InformationTechnology Index and TA Banks 5 sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.64%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Enlight Ene (TASE:ENLT), which rose 2.31% or 134.00 points to trade at 5,944.00 at the close. Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG) added 2.06% or 100.00 points to end at 4,950.00 and Energix (TASE:ENRG) was up 1.21% or 16.00 points to 1,340.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Azrieli Group Ltd (TASE:AZRG), which fell 3.11% or 780.00 points to trade at 24,310.00 in late trade. NICE Ltd (TASE:NICE) declined 2.91% or 1,860.00 points to end at 62,060.00 and Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:ASHG) down 2.10% or 103.00 points to 4,808.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones by 252 to 192 and 95 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.65% or 0.53 to $81.94 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.33% or 0.28 to hit $84.94 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.65% or 15.30 to trade at $2,383.20 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.44% to 3.66, while EUR/ILS fell 0.35% to 3.96.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 104.76.
