Trump slaps 30% tariffs on EU, Mexico
Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the TA-RealEstate Index, TA Oil & Gas and TA-Insurance & Financial Services Index sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.62%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE), which rose 5.54% or 202.00 points to trade at 3,846.00 at the close. Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT) added 1.70% or 390.00 points to end at 23,340.00 and Strauss Group (TASE:STRS) was up 1.57% or 137.00 points to 8,878.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG), which fell 3.17% or 137.00 points to trade at 4,190.00 in late trade. Mivne Real Estate KD Ltd (TASE:MVNE) declined 2.98% or 33.00 points to end at 1,075.00 and Dimri (TASE:DIMRI) down 2.68% or 860.00 points to 31,240.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones by 342 to 123 and 73 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
Shares in OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE) rose to 52-week highs; rising 5.54% or 202.00 to 3,846.00.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.05% or 0.03 to $62.06 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $65.38 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.71% or 23.30 to trade at $3,307.90 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.78% to 3.55, while EUR/ILS rose 1.30% to 4.02.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.59% at 99.39.
