Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the TA Banks 5, TA-RealEstate Index and TA Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.04%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:PHOE), which rose 4.64% or 178.00 points to trade at 4,013.00 at the close. OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE) added 3.71% or 102.00 points to end at 2,854.00 and Nova (TASE:NVMI) was up 3.05% or 2,220.00 points to 74,970.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Airport City Ltd (TASE:ARPT), which fell 2.75% or 153.00 points to trade at 5,402.00 in late trade. Mivne Real Estate KD Ltd (TASE:MVNE) declined 2.31% or 21.70 points to end at 919.00 and Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG) down 1.98% or 810.00 points to 40,030.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones by 240 to 168 and 126 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
Shares in Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:PHOE) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 4.64% or 178.00 to 4,013.00.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 1.26% or 0.85 to $68.52 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.00% or 0.71 to hit $71.77 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.07% or 1.75 to trade at $2,526.35 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 1.10% to 3.77, while EUR/ILS rose 0.72% to 4.16.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.37% at 101.52.
