’Fasten your seatbelts’— BTIG strategists warn of coming turbulence
Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the TA Banks 5, TA Finance and TA-Insurance & Financial Services Index sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 1.53% to hit a new all time high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Menora Miv Hld (TASE:MMHD), which rose 5.68% or 1,290.00 points to trade at 24,000.00 at the close. Israel Discount Bank Ltd (TASE:DSCT) added 5.21% or 163.00 points to end at 3,289.00 and Mizrahi Tefahot (TASE:MZTF) was up 4.74% or 960.00 points to 21,210.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included NICE Ltd (TASE:NICE), which fell 3.45% or 2,010.00 points to trade at 56,250.00 in late trade. Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) declined 3.32% or 470.00 points to end at 13,680.00 and Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT) down 2.46% or 650.00 points to 25,800.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones by 348 to 131 and 59 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.

Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.28% or 0.21 to $74.93 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 2.33% or 1.84 to hit $75.48 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.66% or 22.40 to trade at $3,385.70 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was unchanged 0.05% to 3.49, while EUR/ILS rose 0.29% to 4.02.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.19% at 98.28.
