Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the TA-Communication & InformationTechnology Index, TA-Insurance & Financial Services Index and TA-RealEstate Index sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 1.34%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Harel (TASE:HARL), which rose 3.57% or 210.00 points to trade at 6,100.00 at the close. Mivne Real Estate KD Ltd (TASE:MVNE) added 3.57% or 39.00 points to end at 1,130.00 and Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:PHOE) was up 3.32% or 208.00 points to 6,479.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG), which fell 1.47% or 66.00 points to trade at 4,414.00 in late trade. Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) declined 1.02% or 64.00 points to end at 6,186.00 and Newmed Energy LP (TASE:NWMDp) down 0.38% or 5.00 points to 1,325.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones by 349 to 121 and 67 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.

Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.20% or 0.87 to $71.83 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 1.29% or 0.98 to hit $75.22 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.92% or 26.56 to trade at $2,902.36 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.49% to 3.55, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.09% to 3.69.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.48% at 107.31.
