Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the TA-RealEstate Index, TA-Communication & InformationTechnology Index and TA Banks 5 sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.60%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM), which rose 3.52% or 540.00 points to trade at 15,890.00 at the close. Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN) added 3.16% or 28.00 points to end at 915.00 and Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:ASHG) was up 2.96% or 146.00 points to 5,086.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included NICE Ltd (TASE:NICE), which fell 2.33% or 1,560.00 points to trade at 65,500.00 in late trade. Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG) declined 1.10% or 52.00 points to end at 4,678.00 and Mivne Real Estate KD Ltd (TASE:MVNE) down 0.49% or 4.50 points to 920.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones by 286 to 143 and 110 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
Shares in Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) rose to 52-week highs; up 3.52% or 540.00 to 15,890.00.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.52% or 0.39 to $75.14 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.60% or 0.47 to hit $78.19 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.42% or 10.75 to trade at $2,542.15 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.62% to 3.65, while EUR/ILS fell 1.10% to 4.07.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.40% at 100.86.
