Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the TA Oil & Gas, TA-Insurance & Financial Services Index and TA Finance sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.37%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT), which rose 5.31% or 1,680.00 points to trade at 33,320.00 at the close. Newmed Energy LP (TASE:NWMDp) added 3.86% or 48.00 points to end at 1,290.00 and Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG) was up 3.32% or 1,730.00 points to 53,840.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE), which fell 1.63% or 50.00 points to trade at 3,023.00 in late trade. Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) declined 1.41% or 90.00 points to end at 6,310.00 and Mivne Real Estate KD Ltd (TASE:MVNE) down 1.12% or 12.00 points to 1,062.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones by 266 to 198 and 71 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
Shares in Newmed Energy LP (TASE:NWMDp) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 3.86% or 48.00 to 1,290.00.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.27% or 0.20 to $72.53 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.29% or 0.22 to hit $75.67 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.36% or 10.20 to trade at $2,835.00 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.28% to 3.57, while EUR/ILS fell 0.54% to 3.70.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.55% at 108.22.
