Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the TA Oil & Gas, TA-Insurance & Financial Services Index and TA Finance sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.23% to hit a new all time high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE:SPNS), which rose 5.23% or 730.00 points to trade at 14,680.00 at the close. Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT) added 3.86% or 1,090.00 points to end at 29,330.00 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) was up 3.47% or 540.00 points to 16,080.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Enlight Ene (TASE:ENLT), which fell 5.91% or 358.00 points to trade at 5,699.00 in late trade. Energix (TASE:ENRG) declined 4.62% or 61.00 points to end at 1,259.00 and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) down 4.34% or 302.00 points to 6,650.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones by 240 to 207 and 92 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.67% or 0.48 to $72.47 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.40% or 0.30 to hit $75.83 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 2.39% or 65.80 to trade at $2,683.90 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.20% to 3.74, while EUR/ILS fell 1.98% to 4.01.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 1.60% at 104.97.
