Trump slaps 30% tariffs on EU, Mexico
Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the IDX Finance, IDX Infrastructure and IDX Agriculture sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite added 1.21% to hit a new 3-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Sunson Textile Manufacturer (JK:SSTM), which rose 34.59% or 55.00 points to trade at 214.00 at the close. Lovina Beach Brewery Tbk PT (JK:STRK) added 30.00% or 15.00 points to end at 65.00 and Slj Global Tbk (JK:SULI) was up 27.06% or 23.00 points to 108.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included First Media Tbk (JK:KBLV), which fell 14.94% or 13.00 points to trade at 74.00 in late trade. Cipta Sarana Medika Tbk PT (JK:DKHH) declined 14.62% or 19.00 points to end at 111.00 and Adiwarna Anugerah Abadi PT Tbk (JK:NAIK) down 14.53% or 52.00 points to 306.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones by 362 to 295 and 196 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
Shares in Lovina Beach Brewery Tbk PT (JK:STRK) rose to 52-week highs; rising 30.00% or 15.00 to 65.00. Shares in Cipta Sarana Medika Tbk PT (JK:DKHH) fell to all time lows; falling 14.62% or 19.00 to 111.00.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 3.45% or 2.18 to $60.97 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 3.24% or 2.14 to hit $63.95 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 1.01% or 32.29 to trade at $3,156.01 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.02% to 16,508.40, while AUD/IDR fell 0.32% to 10,618.51.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.26% at 100.61.
