Indonesia shares higher at close of trade; Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite up 0.06%

Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Mining , Property and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite gained 0.06% to hit a new 1-month high.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Tira Austenite Tbk (JK: TIRA ), which rose 34.62% or 45 points to trade at 175 at the close. Multipolar Technology Tbk (JK: MLPT ) added 22.69% or 135 points to end at 730 and Natura City Developments Tbk PT (JK: CITY ) was up 17.95% or 70 points to 460 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Prasidha Aneka Niaga Tbk (JK: PSDN ), which lost 25.00% or 57 points to trade at 171 in late trade. Sunson Textile Manufacturer (JK: SSTM ) declined 16.07% or 90 points to end at 470 and Intanwijaya Internasional Tbk (JK: INCI ) shed 14.53% or 85 points to 500.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 196 to 189 and 123 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.52% or 0.33 to $62.77 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.53% or 0.39 to hit $72.78 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.47% or 5.80 to trade at $1235.60 a troy ounce.

USD/IDR was down 0.66% to 14832.5, while AUD/IDR fell 0.07% to 10801.35.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.14% at 96.22.
