Tata Group Stock Under Spotlight After Nuvama Warns of 43% Crash
Investing.com – France equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the CAC Health Care, CAC Technology and CAC Consumer Service sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Paris, the CAC 40 lost 0.36%, while the SBF 120 index lost 0.35%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the CAC 40 were Eurofins Scientific SE (EPA:EUFI), which rose 3.16% or 1.80 points to trade at 58.74 at the close. Hermes International SCA (EPA:HRMS) added 1.89% or 45.00 points to end at 2,428.00 and L’Oreal SA (EPA:OREP) was up 1.72% or 6.30 points to 372.40 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Carrefour SA (EPA:CARR), which fell 5.96% or 0.83 points to trade at 13.16 in late trade. Sanofi SA (EPA:SASY) declined 4.84% or 4.45 points to end at 87.52 and STMicroelectronics NV (EPA:STMPA) down 1.89% or 0.43 points to 22.11.
The top performers on the SBF 120 were Vusiongroup SA (EPA:VU) which rose 3.93% to 227.60, Eurofins Scientific SE (EPA:EUFI) which was up 3.16% to settle at 58.74 and Virbac SA (EPA:VIRB) which gained 2.78% to close at 333.00.
The worst performers were Carrefour SA (EPA:CARR) which was down 5.96% to 13.16 in late trade, Soitec SA (EPA:SOIT) which lost 5.75% to settle at 43.42 and Sanofi SA (EPA:SASY) which was down 4.84% to 87.52 at the close.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones by 246 to 229 and 98 ended unchanged on the Paris Stock Exchange.
Shares in Eurofins Scientific SE (EPA:EUFI) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 3.16% or 1.80 to 58.74. Shares in Vusiongroup SA (EPA:VU) rose to all time highs; up 3.93% or 8.60 to 227.60. Shares in Eurofins Scientific SE (EPA:EUFI) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 3.16% or 1.80 to 58.74.
The CAC 40 VIX, which measures the implied volatility of CAC 40 options, was unchanged 0.00% to 18.96 a new 52-week high.
Gold Futures for August delivery was down 0.90% or 30.09 to $3,313.81 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in July fell 1.03% or 0.63 to hit $60.31 a barrel, while the August Brent oil contract fell 1.36% or 0.86 to trade at $62.49 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.13% to 1.14, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.02% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 99.34.
