Finland shares lower at close of trade; OMX Helsinki 25 down 1.72%

Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Technology , Financials and Basic Materials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 1.72%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Konecranes ABP (HE: KCRA ), which rose 0.21% or 0.06 points to trade at 29.23 at the close. DNA Oyj (HE: DNAO ) added 0.17% or 0.0300 points to end at 17.9900 and Orion Oyj B (HE: ORNBV ) was up 0.17% or 0.05 points to 29.79 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Outokumpu Oyj (HE: OUT1V ), which lost 5.52% or 0.2120 points to trade at 3.6260 in late trade. Outotec Oyj (HE: OTE1V ) declined 3.82% or 0.139 points to end at 3.495 and Nordea Bank Abp (HE: NDAFI ) shed 3.39% or 0.268 points to 7.632.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 133 to 25 and 9 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for January delivery was down 5.11% or 3.41 to $63.38 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in January fell 5.02% or 2.87 to hit $54.33 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.21% or 2.60 to trade at $1222.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.58% to 1.1387, while EUR/GBP fell 0.26% to 0.8887.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.49% at 96.54.
