Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Helsinki Telecommunications, Helsinki Financials and Helsinki Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 0.60%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV), which rose 0.92% or 0.12 points to trade at 12.59 at the close. Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA) added 0.81% or 0.45 points to end at 55.70 and Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:TYRES) was up 0.79% or 0.06 points to 7.96 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA), which fell 2.51% or 0.09 points to trade at 3.53 in late trade. Elisa Oyj (HE:ELISA) declined 2.47% or 1.08 points to end at 42.66 and Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) down 1.62% or 0.06 points to 3.34.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones by 97 to 72 and 20 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
Shares in Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA) rose to all time highs; rising 0.81% or 0.45 to 55.70.
Brent oil for September delivery was down 1.03% or 0.87 to $83.98 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in September fell 1.11% or 0.90 to hit $79.94 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.60% or 38.95 to trade at $2,467.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.08% to 1.09, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.00% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 104.07.
