Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Helsinki Oil & Gas, Helsinki Utilities and Helsinki Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 0.39%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Huhtamaki Oyj (HE:HUH1V), which rose 1.92% or 0.74 points to trade at 39.26 at the close. Qt Group Oyj (HE:QTCOM) added 0.95% or 0.75 points to end at 79.75 and Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA) was up 0.82% or 0.03 points to 3.64 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV), which fell 2.21% or 0.98 points to trade at 43.34 in late trade. Neste Oyj (HE:NESTE) declined 1.95% or 0.35 points to end at 17.35 and Fortum Oyj (HE:FORTUM) down 1.56% or 0.22 points to 13.89.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones by 101 to 68 and 18 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
Shares in Huhtamaki Oyj (HE:HUH1V) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 1.92% or 0.74 to 39.26.
Brent oil for September delivery was down 0.91% or 0.79 to $85.75 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in August fell 1.06% or 0.88 to hit $82.28 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 1.46% or 34.95 to trade at $2,362.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.01% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.07% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 104.60.
