Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Helsinki Telecommunications, OMX Helsinki Health Care PI and Helsinki Basic Materials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 0.35%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which rose 1.42% or 0.05 points to trade at 3.29 at the close. Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA) added 0.71% or 0.45 points to end at 64.00 and Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:TYRES) was up 0.51% or 0.04 points to 7.83 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Qt Group Oyj (HE:QTCOM), which fell 1.88% or 1.30 points to trade at 67.95 in late trade. Metso Oyj (HE:METSO) declined 1.30% or 0.11 points to end at 8.63 and Kemira Oyj (HE:KEMIRA) down 1.27% or 0.25 points to 19.49.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones by 113 to 60 and 17 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
Brent oil for January delivery was up 2.44% or 1.78 to $74.88 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 2.65% or 1.84 to hit $71.33 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.17% or 4.80 to trade at $2,744.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.46% to 1.09, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.27% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.42% at 103.76.
