Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Helsinki Technology, OMX Helsinki Health Care PI and Helsinki Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.32%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV), which rose 7.66% or 3.80 points to trade at 53.37 at the close. Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:METSB) added 2.09% or 0.12 points to end at 5.86 and Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA) was up 1.14% or 0.75 points to 66.60 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:TYRES), which fell 2.75% or 0.24 points to trade at 8.34 in late trade. Kemira Oyj (HE:KEMIRA) declined 2.60% or 0.56 points to end at 21.00 and Qt Group Oyj (HE:QTCOM) down 1.66% or 1.45 points to 86.15.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones by 107 to 56 and 26 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
Brent oil for December delivery was down 1.45% or 1.10 to $74.94 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December fell 1.49% or 1.07 to hit $70.67 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.92% or 25.45 to trade at $2,734.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.17% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.13% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.35% at 104.28.
