Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Helsinki Utilities, Helsinki Basic Materials and Helsinki Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 0.16%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Neste Oyj (HE:NESTE), which rose 3.33% or 0.67 points to trade at 20.79 at the close. Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA) added 0.55% or 0.02 points to end at 3.76 and Nordea Bank Abp (HE:NDAFI) was up 0.52% or 0.06 points to 10.61 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Kojamo (HE:KOJAMO), which fell 2.19% or 0.21 points to trade at 9.40 in late trade. Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV) declined 2.09% or 0.99 points to end at 46.18 and UPM-Kymmene Oyj (HE:UPM) down 1.65% or 0.51 points to 30.39.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones by 106 to 63 and 19 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
Brent oil for November delivery was down 1.70% or 1.37 to $78.99 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October fell 1.95% or 1.51 to hit $75.91 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.34% or 8.60 to trade at $2,546.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.01% to 1.12, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.37% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.08% at 100.66.
