Defence stock jumps after receiving order for gun stand assemblies from defence firm
Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Helsinki Basic Materials, Helsinki Technology and Helsinki Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.07%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which rose 3.64% or 0.12 points to trade at 3.53 at the close. Mandatum Oyj (HE:MANTA) added 1.39% or 0.07 points to end at 5.25 and Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA) was up 1.09% or 0.05 points to 4.63 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Qt Group Oyj (HE:QTCOM), which fell 2.79% or 1.65 points to trade at 57.45 in late trade. Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:TYRES) declined 2.21% or 0.14 points to end at 6.43 and Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV) down 2.11% or 0.19 points to 8.72.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones by 87 to 72 and 29 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
Brent oil for August delivery was up 3.31% or 2.08 to $64.86 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in July rose 3.41% or 2.07 to hit $62.86 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 2.54% or 84.10 to trade at $3,399.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.71% to 1.14, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.08% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.57% at 98.69.
