Investing.com – Finland equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Helsinki Telecommunications, OMX Helsinki Consumer Services PI and Helsinki Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 added 0.89%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV), which rose 3.32% or 1.50 points to trade at 46.70 at the close. Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA) added 3.26% or 0.12 points to end at 3.66 and Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA) was up 2.07% or 1.30 points to 64.25 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Neste Oyj (HE:NESTE), which fell 2.32% or 0.44 points to trade at 18.30 in late trade. Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) declined 0.87% or 0.03 points to end at 3.31 and Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV) down 0.60% or 0.07 points to 11.53.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones by 99 to 61 and 28 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
Shares in Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA) rose to all time highs; up 2.07% or 1.30 to 64.25.
Brent oil for October delivery was down 1.38% or 1.09 to $77.96 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in September fell 1.58% or 1.20 to hit $74.61 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.21% or 5.20 to trade at $2,430.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.09% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.15% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 104.38.
