Investing.com – Finland equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the OMX Helsinki Consumer Services PI, Helsinki Utilities and Helsinki Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 added 0.07%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Qt Group Oyj (HE:QTCOM), which rose 3.27% or 2.90 points to trade at 91.45 at the close. Fortum Oyj (HE:FORTUM) added 1.21% or 0.17 points to end at 14.24 and Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA) was up 0.70% or 0.03 points to 3.51 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Neste Oyj (HE:NESTE), which fell 1.54% or 0.28 points to trade at 18.20 in late trade. Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA) declined 1.47% or 0.90 points to end at 60.25 and Kojamo (HE:KOJAMO) down 1.44% or 0.14 points to 9.57.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones by 83 to 75 and 29 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
Shares in Qt Group Oyj (HE:QTCOM) rose to 52-week highs; rising 3.27% or 2.90 to 91.45.
Brent oil for October delivery was up 1.96% or 1.56 to $81.22 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in September rose 2.42% or 1.86 to hit $78.70 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.20% or 29.70 to trade at $2,503.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.11% to 1.09, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.05% to 0.86.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 103.00.
