Investing.com -- The direct-to-home (DTH) provider Dish TV (NS:DSTV) will conduct its Adjourned 34th Annual General Meeting (‘Adjourned AGM’) of equity shareholders on Thursday, December 29, 2022, for the adoption of audited financial statements for the financial years 2021-22 and 2020-21.
On September 26, 2022, the company convened its 34th AGM, where the satellite television provider’s shareholders rejected four out of six resolutions amid the tussle between Dish TV and its largest shareholder Yes Bank (NS:YESB) for the former company’s board overhaul.
The rejected proposals at the AGM included the adoption of audited financial statements for the last two fiscal years FY21 and FY22, the appointment of SN Dhawan and Co. as the company’s auditor and Rakesh Mohan as an Independent Director. Due to the non-approval of these agenda items, the AGM stood adjourned.
The adjourned AGM will be held today (Dec 29) and will begin at 12:30 pm through Video Conferencing or Other Audio Visual Means.
At the 34th AGM on Thursday, Dish TV will present its audited financial results for FY21 and FY22 (standalone and consolidated) to its shareholders for consideration and approval.
At its board meeting held on Dec 6, 2022, Dish TV’s Board of Directors announced the appointment of Sunil Kumar Gupta, Madan Mohanlal Verma and Gaurav Gupta as the Independent Directors of the company, for a term of 5 consecutive years.
