Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.86%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb), which rose 6.71% or 625 points to trade at 9935 at the close. A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) added 5.89% or 525 points to end at 9440 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) was up 0.85% or 2.6 points to 309.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included TDC A/S (CO:TDC), which lost 6.83% or 2.44 points to trade at 33.28 in late trade. Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) declined 2.93% or 17.5 points to end at 579.5 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) shed 2.78% or 12.9 points to 450.3.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 100 to 44 and 12 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was up 4.35% or 2.15 to $51.59 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 4.71% or 2.44 to hit $54.28 a barrel, while the February Gold contract fell 0.59% or 6.90 to trade at $1167.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.37% to 7.0007, while EUR/DKK rose 0.04% to 7.4428.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.34% at 101.28.
