Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the OMX Copenhagen Personal & Household Goods PI, Copenhagen Chemicals and Copenhagen Health Care sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 3.90% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED), which rose 3.33% or 13.70 points to trade at 424.50 at the close. Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) added 0.72% or 6.00 points to end at 835.40 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) was up 0.25% or 2.20 points to 898.20 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which fell 6.08% or 65.50 points to trade at 1,011.00 in late trade. GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) declined 5.06% or 9.10 points to end at 169.90 and Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) down 5.00% or 148.00 points to 2,810.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones by 113 to 14 and 20 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 3.73% or 2.85 to $73.46 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 3.33% or 2.65 to hit $76.87 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.48% or 12.00 to trade at $2,468.80 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 1.17% to 6.83, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 1.21% at 102.94.
