Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Copenhagen Oil & Gas, Copenhagen Health Care and Copenhagen Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 1.91% to hit a new 52-week low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA), which rose 37.89% or 185.20 points to trade at 674.00 at the close. Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) added 4.07% or 4.70 points to end at 120.30 and Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NSISb) was up 2.66% or 10.60 points to 409.10 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which fell 4.66% or 5.10 points to trade at 103.40 in late trade. Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) declined 4.32% or 22.90 points to end at 507.60 and Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED) down 2.63% or 8.60 points to 318.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones by 71 to 57 and 22 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
Shares in Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) fell to 52-week lows; losing 4.32% or 22.90 to 507.60.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 2.26% or 1.50 to $67.75 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 2.03% or 1.41 to hit $70.97 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.82% or 23.86 to trade at $2,944.76 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was unchanged 0.07% to 6.84, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.02% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.14% at 103.42.
