Defence stock jumps after receiving order for gun stand assemblies from defence firm
Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Copenhagen Oil & Gas, Copenhagen Health Care and OMX Copenhagen Personal & Household Goods PI sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 1.73%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CSE:GMAB), which rose 1.64% or 22.50 points to trade at 1,397.50 at the close. ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) added 1.50% or 2.60 points to end at 176.50 and Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) was up 0.62% or 5.80 points to 944.60 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which fell 6.26% or 6.80 points to trade at 101.10 in late trade. Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA) declined 5.97% or 25.70 points to end at 404.50 and Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) down 2.90% or 7.80 points to 261.40.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones by 91 to 38 and 17 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
Shares in ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) rose to 5-year highs; rising 1.50% or 2.60 to 176.50.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 1.09% or 0.67 to $60.90 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 1.14% or 0.74 to hit $64.17 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.65% or 21.41 to trade at $3,292.09 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.40% to 6.61, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.02% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.33% at 99.77.
