Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Copenhagen Oil & Gas, Copenhagen Health Care and Copenhagen Chemicals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 1.60%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb), which rose 3.24% or 26.00 points to trade at 827.40 at the close. Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) added 0.97% or 26.00 points to end at 2,714.00 and Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) was up 0.94% or 5.00 points to 537.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED), which fell 2.63% or 7.90 points to trade at 292.20 in late trade. Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) declined 2.42% or 14.50 points to end at 585.70 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) down 2.35% or 290.00 points to 12,065.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones by 72 to 57 and 21 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.69% or 1.24 to $72.08 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 1.53% or 1.18 to hit $75.82 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.38% or 11.24 to trade at $2,921.36 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was unchanged 0.01% to 7.20, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.02% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.23% at 108.08.
