Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Copenhagen Health Care, OMX Copenhagen Personal & Household Goods PI and Copenhagen Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 1.53%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CSE:GMAB), which rose 8.52% or 117.00 points to trade at 1,490.00 at the close. Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA) added 5.57% or 39.50 points to end at 748.50 and Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) was up 3.54% or 96.00 points to 2,810.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb), which fell 3.36% or 19.70 points to trade at 566.00 in late trade. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) declined 2.36% or 285.00 points to end at 11,780.00 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) down 1.86% or 220.00 points to 11,580.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones by 69 to 57 and 19 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.04% or 0.03 to $71.40 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.15% or 0.11 to hit $75.07 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.50% or 14.66 to trade at $2,943.36 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.46% to 7.15, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.52% at 107.26.
