Denmark shares lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 1.02%
Credit: © Reuters. – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Industrials , Oil & Gas and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.02%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO: GEN ), which rose 2.73% or 27.2 points to trade at 1025.0 at the close. GN Store Nord (CO: GN ) added 2.20% or 5.4 points to end at 250.6 and Ambu A/S (CO: AMBUb ) was up 1.86% or 2.5 points to 136.8 in late trade.

Biggest losers included ISS A/S (CO: ISS ), which lost 5.79% or 11.40 points to trade at 185.55 in late trade. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO: MAERSKb ) declined 3.66% or 326 points to end at 8574 and Danske Bank A/S (CO: DANSKE ) shed 3.41% or 4.8 points to 137.3.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 94 to 29 and 9 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was down 1.94% or 1.02 to $51.59 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 1.41% or 0.87 to hit $60.80 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.23% or 2.90 to trade at $1249.70 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.06% to 6.5636, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4641.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.57% at 97.028.
