Denmark shares lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.68%
Credit: © Reuters. – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Healthcare , Personal & Household Goods and Consumer Goods sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.68%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO: MAERSKa ), which rose 2.90% or 245 points to trade at 8700 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO: MAERSKb ) added 2.60% or 234 points to end at 9234 and FLSmidth & Co. (CO: FLS ) was up 1.96% or 7.4 points to 384.6 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO: NOVOb ), which lost 1.89% or 5.6 points to trade at 287.5 in late trade. Novozymes A/S B (CO: NZYMb ) declined 1.85% or 5.8 points to end at 308.1 and DSV (CO: DSV ) shed 1.45% or 7.2 points to 488.0.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 57 to 55 and 26 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.55% or 0.38 to $68.85 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 1.05% or 0.77 to hit $74.25 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.49% or 6.60 to trade at $1346.90 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.30% to 6.0371, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4480.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.26% at 89.58.
