Denmark shares lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.67%

Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods , Consumer Goods and Healthcare sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.67%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO: VWS ), which rose 1.71% or 7.2 points to trade at 427.5 at the close. TDC A/S (CO: TDC ) added 0.26% or 0.10 points to end at 39.00 and Coloplast A/S (CO: COLOb ) was up 0.12% or 0.6 points to 510.0 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO: CHRH ), which lost 7.40% or 42.8 points to trade at 535.4 in late trade. Pandora A/S (CO: PNDORA ) declined 1.78% or 10.6 points to end at 584.8 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO: JYSK ) shed 1.70% or 6.1 points to 352.3.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 77 to 46 and 12 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.56% or 0.36 to $64.16 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.42% or 0.29 to hit $69.55 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.70% or 9.20 to trade at $1331.70 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.78% to 6.1413, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4491.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.63% at 91.08.
