Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Copenhagen Chemicals, Copenhagen Oil & Gas and Copenhagen Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.48% to hit a new 6-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which rose 2.32% or 3.10 points to trade at 134.60 at the close. Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) added 1.76% or 18.50 points to end at 1,067.00 and Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) was up 1.38% or 3.60 points to 264.60 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK), which fell 9.43% or 50.50 points to trade at 485.00 in late trade. Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED) declined 3.27% or 14.20 points to end at 419.90 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) down 2.87% or 3.80 points to 128.60.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones by 92 to 35 and 19 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.15% or 0.10 to $67.28 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.28% or 0.20 to hit $70.80 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.78% or 21.45 to trade at $2,777.35 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.20% to 6.91, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.05% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 104.31.
