Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Copenhagen Technology, Copenhagen Real Estate and Copenhagen Chemicals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.32% to hit a new 6-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which rose 0.78% or 1.00 points to trade at 129.60 at the close. Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) added 0.54% or 16.00 points to end at 2,996.00 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) was up 0.35% or 2.70 points to 771.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb), which fell 4.38% or 34.40 points to trade at 751.00 in late trade. Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) declined 3.01% or 14.60 points to end at 470.40 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) down 2.96% or 295.00 points to 9,670.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones by 98 to 31 and 19 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
Shares in Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) fell to 3-year lows; losing 4.38% or 34.40 to 751.00.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.96% or 1.32 to $68.53 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.94% or 1.37 to hit $72.10 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.57% or 15.85 to trade at $2,796.95 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.39% to 6.87, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.02% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.30% at 103.88.
