Denmark shares lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.32%

Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods , Consumer Goods and Healthcare sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.32%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO: VWS ), which rose 2.60% or 10.4 points to trade at 410.5 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO: MAERSKa ) added 2.28% or 185 points to end at 8295 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO: MAERSKb ) was up 1.83% or 158 points to 8794 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Pandora A/S (CO: PNDORA ), which lost 1.90% or 7.2 points to trade at 372.5 in late trade. GN Store Nord (CO: GN ) declined 1.56% or 5.0 points to end at 315.3 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CO: NOVOb ) shed 1.26% or 4.0 points to 310.0.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 66 to 57 and 15 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.41% or 0.27 to $65.73 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.34% or 0.24 to hit $71.67 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.08% or 1.00 to trade at $1185.00 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.28% to 6.5363, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4586.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.33% at 96.16.
