Denmark shares lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.27%

Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods , Consumer Goods and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.27%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO: MAERSKb ), which rose 6.44% or 542 points to trade at 8954 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO: MAERSKa ) added 5.59% or 445 points to end at 8400 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO: JYSK ) was up 1.80% or 6.3 points to 356.3 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Pandora A/S (CO: PNDORA ), which lost 24.42% or 105.0 points to trade at 325.0 in late trade. Lundbeck A/S (CO: LUN ) declined 2.48% or 11.3 points to end at 443.7 and DSV (CO: DSV ) shed 0.97% or 5.6 points to 569.8.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 57 to 57 and 25 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.30% or 0.21 to $69.22 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.94% or 0.69 to hit $74.44 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.19% or 2.30 to trade at $1220.00 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.33% to 6.4289, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.4525.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.20% at 95.00.
