Denmark shares lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.17%
Credit: © Reuters. – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Chemicals , Financials and Consumer Goods sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.17%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO: GEN ), which rose 1.47% or 15.5 points to trade at 1069.0 at the close. Novozymes A/S B (CO: NZYMb ) added 1.34% or 4.6 points to end at 347.6 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO: CHRH ) was up 1.30% or 8.6 points to 668.0 in late trade.

Biggest losers included AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO: MAERSKb ), which lost 1.62% or 150 points to trade at 9110 in late trade. Lundbeck A/S (CO: LUN ) declined 1.10% or 4.2 points to end at 378.5 and Danske Bank A/S (CO: DANSKE ) shed 1.09% or 2.0 points to 186.2.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 71 to 52 and 14 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.28% or 0.19 to $67.67 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.13% or 0.10 to hit $74.68 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.72% or 8.70 to trade at $1194.60 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.38% to 6.4559, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4595.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.48% at 95.46.
