Denmark shares lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.11%
Credit: © Reuters. – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Financials , Industrials and Chemicals sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.11%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Lundbeck A/S (CO: LUN ), which rose 2.01% or 7.8 points to trade at 396.7 at the close. Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO: CHRH ) added 1.91% or 12.2 points to end at 652.0 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO: VWS ) was up 1.61% or 6.9 points to 434.4 in late trade.

Biggest losers included William Demant Holding AS (CO: WDH ), which lost 2.74% or 6.8 points to trade at 241.4 in late trade. Jyske Bank A/S (CO: JYSK ) declined 2.20% or 7.0 points to end at 311.1 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO: MAERSKb ) shed 1.55% or 142 points to 9020.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 69 to 51 and 20 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.69% or 1.22 to $73.34 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.99% or 1.62 to hit $83.00 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.74% or 8.80 to trade at $1196.20 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.23% to 6.4194, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4571.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 94.67.
