Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the OMX Copenhagen Personal & Household Goods PI, Copenhagen Health Care and Copenhagen Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.09%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV), which rose 2.66% or 40.50 points to trade at 1,563.50 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) added 1.87% or 2.60 points to end at 142.00 and Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED) was up 1.63% or 7.30 points to 455.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA), which fell 2.74% or 22.00 points to trade at 781.50 in late trade. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) declined 1.53% or 150.00 points to end at 9,645.00 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) down 1.47% or 149.00 points to 9,956.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones by 78 to 53 and 18 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
Shares in DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) rose to 52-week highs; up 2.66% or 40.50 to 1,563.50. Shares in Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED) rose to 52-week highs; up 1.63% or 7.30 to 455.50.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.58% or 0.43 to $73.14 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.78% or 0.60 to hit $76.58 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.16% or 4.20 to trade at $2,631.20 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.27% to 6.81, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.24% at 102.55.
